The Embryo Bank is a part of the INVICTA Fertility Bank. In the INVICTA Embryo Bank, frozen embryos of couples who are undergoing or have undergone treatment at INVICTA Clinics are stored. There is also an option to transfer frozen embryos to the INVICTA Fertility Clinic from other clinics in order to commence treatment at our clinic or to conduct embryo research. Of course, everything is done in safe conditions and in accordance with the highest standards.
The INVICTA Embryo Bank allows for the following solutions:
Infertility treatment:
Embryo adoption:
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) of embryos:
Since 2007, our embryologists have been freezing embryos at the blastocyst stage using the vitrification method. Vitrification involves rapidly cooling the embryos in the presence of protective substances, known as cryoprotectants.
This approach prevents the formation of ice crystals, which are the main cause of cell damage during the freezing process.
Embryo adoption takes place within the framework of the in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment program. The procedure begins with phenotypic matching, where we propose embryos from donors who are similar to the recipients in terms of characteristics such as eye color and hair color. The couple receives two frozen embryos with normal morphology at the blastocyst stage, which is the stage of development where embryos have the highest ability to implant. Subsequently, the recipient patient prepares for embryo transfer.
The waiting time for embryo adoption from other patients at INVICTA Clinics is between 6 to 12 months.
60% of couples have confirmed clinical pregnancies as a result of the embryo adoption procedure from the INVICTA Embryo Bank.
Double gamete donation refers to the situation where both donor eggs and donor sperm are simultaneously used in in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is a recommended solution for couples when both the woman and the man have very low-quality reproductive cells or no cells at all.
Opting for fertilization using donor eggs and donor sperm is a worthwhile alternative to embryo adoption from other patients who have already completed IVF treatment. Recipient patients separately select a donor egg and a sperm donor according to phenotype. Subsequently, our embryologist performs in vitro fertilization to obtain embryos intended for the specific couple. This significantly shortens the treatment time and increases its effectiveness.
Donor eggs and sperm are already available in the INVICTA Fertility Bank Online, so the selection and reservation process practically happen instantly.
It is important to note that egg donors and sperm donors are individuals who have not undergone treatment for infertility. They have been thoroughly examined (medically, genetically, and psychologically), so their material is of higher quality and safety.
We encourage you to take advantage of the in vitro program with donor eggs and donor sperm, where we guarantee high-quality blastocyst-stage embryos.
75% of couples have confirmed clinical pregnancies after the first IVF procedure with frozen donor eggs.
